Everyone has opinions but why should we care? More importantly why should we listen? Deborah Orr has written an interesting article at The Guardian about how all the manufactured controversy hidden behind the word "opinion" actually fails to stimulate debate about real issues and surely that should be the whole point.
Why should anyone listen to somebody who can't even be bothered to do a little bit of research or is completely unqualified to comment about the thing they are harping on about.
I would like to hear a bit more about issues that are not really covered in the media because the stories aren't "sexy" enough, or don't fit into the hysteria of the month
